Body Massages

The application of soft-tissue manipulation techniques to the body is intended to reduce stress and fatigue while improving circulation. You may choose one of the techniques below:

Deep Tissue Massage

$65 / 60 minutes

Deep tissue massage is a combination of massage that gets to the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia. It can release tension in the tissues, or have a psychological release. It will loosen bonds between the layers of connective tissues. Great for contracted muscles, trigger points, overworked muscles and areas of “pain or tension.”

European Massage

$65 / 70 minutes

Swedish massage is the most well-known massage. It deals with the soft-tissue structure of the human body by a technique that incorporates long, gliding strokes. Strokes are generally applied by hand with oil to lessen friction. Swedish massage can help the body relax, remove toxins, deliver nutrients to tissues and cells more efficiently, improve circulation, reduce stress, and recover from strains and trauma more quickly. Try it once and you’ll see why it’s a favorite.

Oncology Massage

$65 / 70 minutes

I have received additional training in the pathophysiology of cancer. I now work several days a week at Beaumont Hospital doing specific therapeutic massage for patients and survivors of cancer in the Integrative Medicine Department.  I am  skilled and comfortable working with scar tissue on mastectomy sites.   Specific stretches to help with your range of motion and a compassionate touch will ease away some of your discomfort.  Massage helps with prevention of lymphedema and provides a gentle touch to anyone that's been touched by cancer.

Manual Lymph Drainage

$65 / 70 minutes

A form of soft tissue manipulation causing pronounced movement of lymphatic fluid. A system of treatment involving specialized forms of manual techniques which direct fluid along normal anatomical pathways.

Sports Massage

$65 / 70 minutes

Sports massage will keep you at peak performance. Separation of muscle fibers decreases pain caused by adhesions and increases flexibility and strength. Stretching and compression are used to help athletes obtain maximum performance and physical conditioning. There are three basic categories of sports massages:
